​​CREATIVE MOVEMENT
(18 mos – 3 years old)       

An introduction to dance & movement.   Dancers will use scarves, beanbags, tambourines, poly stars, and more to explore movement & music both on their own or with a parent or caregiver if necessary.  We will be working on basic motor skills, balancing, spatial patterns, and musical rhythms.

Caregivers should plan to remain in the studio for the duration of the class.  We will transition toward less caregiver involvement as the sessions progress.

​CREATIVE BALLET

(3 -4 years) 

Basic ballet movements will be introduced within a structure that emphasizes fun and individuality.  Young dancers will be exposed to the music and stories of various ballets while working on basic motor skills, balancing, spatial patterns, and musical rhythms.  An additional focus on improvisational dancing allows for free expression during each class.  Students must be able to fully separate from their parent to participate in class.

PRE BALLET

(PreK 4-5 years)

             
While maintaining an emphasis on creative dance, the young dancers in Beginning Ballet will learn ballet terminology and explore longer movement sequences including ballet barre exercises.

BEGINNING BALLET

(Kindergarten/ 1st grade)

Moving toward a structured ballet class, dancers will learn ballet terminology and more complex movement sequences including ballet barre and center exercises.   Creative dance will continue to be incorporated into class work.

ADVANCED BEGINNING BALLET

(1st- 5th grade)

INTERMEDIATE BALLET

(3rd-6th grade)
and
ADVANCED INTERMEDIATE BALLET         (Middle School/ by invitation)                                
These classes are structured ballet classes with age-appropriate barre and center work.

​Creative Movement Tuition:

$25 Registration Fee for new families

10% Discount available for siblings or 2nd class.

Early Tuition Discount 10% for payment in full by August 16, 2024 .
